If you've used Facebook in the last 16 years - you've just won a $725 million settlement. Want to know how you can claim your cash? Read on.
Facebook's parent company Meta has agreed to pay the settlement to users as part of a lawsuit alleging it allowed millions of its users' personal information to be fed to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that supported Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. That data was used to target U.S. voters during the 2016 campaign that culminated in Trump's election as the 45th president.
You have to apply to receive a share of the settlement. The more users who apply, the smaller the payments will be as the settlement will be divided evenly.
