A contract worker was killed after a tree that he was cutting fell on him.
This happened around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon in Canton Township, Washington County.
The coroner identified the man who died as 42-year-old Ryan Jenny of Houston, PA.
Jenny was an experienced tree cutter who had his own business.
He was working alone and was following proper safety protocol when the tree that he was cutting fell in an unintended direction.
The incident is under investigation.
