Audacy Pittsburgh's Feed the Need Radiothon produced an amazing result Tuesday for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank with 331,657 total meals funded, thanks to you!
Every dollar donated turns into three full meals.
“Our neighbors always step up, neighbors helping neighbors, the community supporting each other, that’s what we do, we’re the City of Champions and . . . it doesn’t ever cease to amaze me, the generosity of this community,” said Brian Gulish, VP of Marketing and Communications for the Food Bank.
Gulish says the community raised over 70,000 more meals than last year.

Throughout the day, special guests, including Country singer Dan Smyers from Dan + Shay and former Pittsburgh Steelers players Rocky Bleier and Trai Essex, joined the live broadcast, encouraging listeners to contribute through online donations, phone calls, and text messaging. Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank was founded in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in 1980 to support those impacted by unemployment following the collapse of the steel industry.
