Film production to close major road in North Hills

Part of Babcock Boulevard in North Park will be closed at times this week due to a film shoot.

Allegheny County Police say On Tuesday July 1 and Thursday July 3, “there will be intermittent closures on Babcock Boulevard from Wildwood Road to W Ridge Road/Hemlock Drive throughout the day.”

The town of McCandless says additional restrictions will occur on "Old Babcock Blvd. (between Wildwood and Babcock) and Old Ingomar Road (between Ingomar and Babcock)."

On Wednesday, July 2 there will be a full closure from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next day.

There will be posted detours and an increased police presence in the area of the closures, with the movie being filmed.

The movie features actors Zoë Kravitz, Pete Davidson, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Sawai and more.
