Flames broke out Wednesday morning for the second time in less than a month at a salvage yard in Beaver County.
Heavy smoke was rising from a fire around 8 a.m. at Brickyard Auto Parts in Darlington.
Borough president Terry McKeel tells KDKA Radio it’s believed the fire started in a garage.
Several fire departments including New Brighton, Darlington, Enid and Chippewa responded.
She adds an ambulance responded and took a stretcher into the salvage yard but, there are currently no reported injuries.
She says the fire appears to be under control.
Fire crews were called to the same location on November 17 after a reported explosion at the salvage yard.
The blast produced heavy smoke in the community with some residents complaining of headaches. It was believed that fire started in a scrap pile.
