
Allegheny Health Network and UPMC are celebrating the first babies born in 2024 in the Pittsburgh area.
AHN says Samantha and Billy Polizotto of Beaver welcomed Capria Josephine into the world right after 12:45 on New Year’s Day.

Capria was born at AHN’s Wexford hospital. The parents will also get a year of free diapers from the Western PA Diaper Banks.
She came in a 7-pounds, 1 once and just a little over 18 inches long.
Two babies were born at 12:45 a.m. at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
Jonathan Mrockosky and Emily Helbling welcoming a daughter and Juan Brito and Glendy Gonzalez welcomed a son.
