Get ready for snow.
The first significant snowfall for the Pittsburgh region is expected to just as we're getting ready for Tuesday morning's commute.
The National Weather Service is predicting as much as 3 to 4 inches of snow for most areas.
Snow is expected to begin falling in the early morning hours.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from midnight through 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Meteorologist Liona Lupo says temperature-wise, it's not going to get much warmer than the low 30's.
Lupo said that temperatures will remain in the mid-to-low 30s throughout most of the week with temps in the upper 30s this weekend before falling again next week.
Snow should be out of the area by early afternoon Tuesday.
