In a few short months, Pittsburgh will host the 2026 NFL Draft.
On Tuesday, the NFL, along with VisitPITTSBURGH and the Pittsburgh Steelers unveiled the first “official renderings” of what the draft will look like in April.
The “draft campus” will be at two sites, near Acrisure Stadium on the North Shore and Point State Park.
The renderings show the Main Stage and Draft Theater will be right outside of Acrisure Stadium.
“We’re excited by the NFL’s release of renderings for the 2026 NFL Draft,” said Dan Rooney, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for the Pittsburgh Steelers. “Football fans from around the world will see how Pittsburgh’s iconic landscape creates a natural amphitheater, providing the perfect setting for this world-class celebration of football – all in the heart of Western Pennsylvania – a region that holds a unique place in the history of the game.”
In a release, VisitPITTSBURGH says the city’s skyline rivers and backdrop will be featured globally from the Draft Theater viewing area.
The NFL’s fan festival, and Draft Experience activities will be at Point State Park and will feature “youth programming, food and beverage offerings, and immersive NFL exhibits designed for fans of all ages.”
The Roberto Clemente Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic and will serve as a connection between the campuses.
The Gateway Clipper Fleet will also be running shuttles between the two destinations.
More information will be released in the coming weeks.
The Draft takes place in Pittsburgh April 23-25 with up to 700,000 visitors expected to experience the once-in-a-lifetime event for the city.
