The Peregrine Falcon's on top of the University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning are celebrating Earth Day but welcoming their first chick of the year.
The National Aviary on the North Side announced the chick hatched around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
The Aviary says both parents took turns incubating the eggs.
Three other eggs are in the nest and expected to hatch over the next day or two.
