A pizzeria in Southwestern PA has been ruled “out of compliance” after an inspection by state officials.

The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety says and inspection of Viviana’s New York Pizza on Oliver Road in Uniontown found five risk factors on Friday.

An inspection shows several items were in a cooler, temped above the safe zone of 41 degrees or lower.

They include, sausage at 52.3 degrees, ham at 52 degrees and marinara at 48 degrees. Pizza cheese and chicken were found to be slightly above 41.

The sausage, ham and marinara were thrown away.

Other issues include a build-up of debris or old splattered food in a microwave and on utensils.

A large bag of onions was found on the floor in a cooler and a bag of sugar was found on the floor in a food prep area.

Items must be on a raised platform and not directly on the floor.
