A food vendor that was listed as a participant at Foodees Fest on June 12 in Bethel Park’s South Hills Village Mall has been closed down, according to Allegheny County.
Mobay Island Vybz, 153 S 18th St., Pittsburgh, was cited by the county for several violations. These include: foods prepared in a private home offered for sale, improper hot holding temperatures, improper cold holding temperatures, lack of temperature control equipment, lack of probe thermometers to monitor food temperatures, and improper disposal and storage of wastewater.
Upcoming Foodees events do not appear to have the business listed as a food vendor.
