35-year-old Amber Snyder of Tarentum was a bartender at the Polish National Alliance in Harrison's Natrona neighborhood.

She was fired after police say she passed counterfeit $100 bills to another bartender, who exchanged the counterfeit bills for five $20 bills.

Investigators say this happened on three different occasions. When questioned, Snyder tried to blame the other bartender for the thefts, but investigators charged Snyder because she had the fake bills in her possession and was the person who exchanged them for the real cash.

Snyder's hearing is scheduled for April 13th.
