A former UPMC Children's Hospital doctor has pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
Ashok Panigrahy, a former chief radiologist at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, pled guilty in federal court for knowingly possessing images and videos of child porn.
The incidents allegedly took place in November of 2022.
The 53-year-old was charged last September.
Prosecutors say the images could have been sent across state lines or from another country.
Panigrahy sentencing is scheduled for July 17.
