A new Dollar General location is coming to Pittsburgh.
The former Rite Aid on Second Avenue in Hazelwood will be the site of the new Dollar General
The Hazelwood Rite Aid was among the hundreds that closed nationwide last year after the company filed for bankruptcy.
A spokesperson to Dollar General tells KDKA Radio that they are in the final phases of acquiring the location and expect to break ground "in the coming weeks."
No word on when the location will officially open.
