Fort Duquesne Bridge walkway to North Shore closed through Friday

A heads up for pedestrians who walk from Point State Park to the North Shore.

Officials are going to close down the pedestrian walkway in the park Wednesday.

Crews are going to be doing renovation work on the Great Lawn and the Fountain as they prepare for next year's NFL Draft and the re-paving of the sidewalks is getting underway.

So, pedestrians will not be able to use the Fort Duquesne Bridge walkway access to the park until Friday.
