PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11 announced on Friday plans to start working in the Fort Pitt Tunnel.
The project has an expected start date of Sunday, Nov. 8.
There will be single-lane traffic flow restrictions going in both directions.
And crews will be operating Sundays through Thursdays until Nov. 22.
The teams will be working from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
As for the work itself, the maintenance workers will be doing lighting replacement.
