The founder of Don's Appliances has died.
The store shared the news of Donald Hillebrand's death on social media.
He died on Monday. No word on the cause.
Hillebrand founded Don's Appliances in 1971 with his wife Jill and today the chain has expanded to 12 locations with more than 180 employees.
Hillebrand was born in McKees Rocks and is survived by his five sons, grandchildren and other family members.
"Don’s dedication, warmth, and legacy of service will continue to inspire all of us at Don’s Appliances," the company wrote in a post. "We extend our deepest condolences to the Hillebrand Family, and we honor his lifetime of hard work, generosity, and community spirit."
Don was 82.
