A four-car accident Tuesday on Route 28 has claimed one life and left another driver hospitalized.
Pennsylvania State Police say 36-year-old Sheena Fitzgerald of Pittsburgh was killed in the crash.
They say it started when she tried to pass a pickup truck on the southbound side of the road, hit the vehicle and went into a guardrail on the northbound side of the road.
At that point, her Dodge Challenger went airborne, landing on the hood of a Dodge Dart.
That's when a fourth vehicle hit Fitzgerald's.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the car that hit hers, 48-year-old Jonathan Sands of Duquesne, was taken to AGH and last known to be in stable condition.
