It's the first day of the spring equinox and Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard is celebrating with its annual free ice giveaway.
For over 25 years, Rita's has treated each and every guest to a free 6-ounce cup of Italian ice of their choice to kick off the spring season.
Flavors will vary by location and include a mix of classics and a new flavor, Sour Patch Kids Watermelon.
Rita's 550 plus locations are expected to give away about 1 million cups of ice during the promotion.
