A man on the run for the past five months has been taken into custody.
Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus’ office announced Thursday that 27-year-old Justin Collins, of McKees Rocks has been arrested.
A bench warrant has been out for Collins since late August after he failed to show for a case involving three firearms charges.
Sheriff’s detectives learned that Collins was inside a residence he shares with his mother and sister on Munson Avenue in McKees Rocks.
Detectives were met at the door by the mother and sister and found Collins in the basement.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail without incident.
