Fujiya Ramen's Shadyside location is closed temporarily after significant damage from a weekend fire.
The flames broke out Saturday morning and in a social media post, the owners say they hope to rebuild, but need to go through insurance and assess the damage from the fire.
“For many years, Fujiya has been more than just a ramen shop—it has been a place where friends and families gather, celebrate, and create memories. Seeing our restaurant in this condition is heartbreaking,” the owners said on Facebook.
Fujiya's North Fayette location is open.
