A 25-year-old Baldwin woman is dead after a three-vehicle collision early Sunday on the Liberty Bridge.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says one of the vehicles was engulfed in flames with three people trapped inside.

Police officers put out the fire and rescued two people but were unable to save 25-year-old Laila Jones.

Another driver was taken to a hospital in stable condition and a third motorist was treated at the scene.

A GoFundMe has been established to help the family of Laila, who leaves behind a 5-year-old son named Karter.

Funds raised will go toward covering funeral expenses and Karter’s future.

Another GoFundMe has also been started for another victim of the crash.

A woman named Maddie, who was part of the accident had to be “intubated and sedated”.

“She has a long and challenging physical and emotional recovery ahead and will be unable to work for an unknown extended period of time,” her GoFundMe reads.

Maddie is the mother of a two-year-old son.
