He yells YEE HAW in a crowded room. He wears a cowboy hat. He wears Gucci and Versace shoes with a Rolex watch. He’s from Munhall!
He’s Richard Bazzy. He’s the owner/president of Shults Ford / Lincoln in Wexford, Harmarville and West Mifflin. He’s one of a handful of men I know who NEVER says no.
Anytime I call him to help with anything GetMarty related, he steps up.
A donated truck for a cancer ridden Pennsylvania State Trooper; a Pens Suite to raise money for folks who can’t pay heating bills. He gives away turkeys and backpacks. He’s a one man philanthropic tsunami.
This week he nailed it.
I snagged this email he wrote. Turns out Bazzy established a scholarship fund at Steel Valley High School. He graduated from there. Once a year he will give a five thousand dollar scholarship to one student. Bazzy will look at the students entered an pick a winner.
This year he has 11 finalists to choose from. He writes: “I read the first one and declared them the winner. Each of them, all 11, were such compelling stories. I could not pick one. So we chose all 11.”
