We're about to do something wonderful thanks to the kindness of my dear friend Bruce Gelman. Before Bruce's cancer battle came to an end with his passing last December, he made a very big promise to keep helping people with Get Marty even after he was gone.
Bruce's wife Beatrice is making sure his legacy of kindness lives on.
During our final on-camera interview in November 2022, Bruce said he wanted to do something special. Every year around his birthday in October, Bruce said that he wanted us to find a family in need and give them $1,000 and he wants us to find another family every year for the next ten years.
What an amazing man, and a true friend. I miss him but I'm proud we can keep sharing his kindness.
