Time is not on the side of a sweet little girl I just met this weekend in Vandergrift, PA. Her name is Jaycee Amick and she's got a big birthday coming up in just a few weeks. On July 25th she'll be 13 years old.

Jaycee's mother, Marci Amick, tells me that just two years ago her daughter's rare form of brain cancer had disappeared entirely. It has now come back worse than before and there isn't much doctors can do at this point.
That's part of why she reached out to Get Marty. In the video on this page, you'll see why we're getting involved and why it was a no-brainer who I needed to turn to.

The issue is with her swimming pool. Jaycee hasn't really had a chance to use it since it was donated by Make-A-Wish last year. The main thing missing is a pool deck to help Jaycee get in and out of the water. Because of her cancer battle, she has trouble walking.
Just so happens that we know a pool guy with a heart ten times the size of her swimming pool. My man, Dale Kleiner. He's stepped up big on more than one occasion already. Now he's doing it again.
Dale, who owns Swimming Pool Discounters in Pittsburgh, has already reached out to a manufacturer to get the decking in for Jaycee's pool and he has installers set to put it up on Wednesday.

So Jaycee will be able to get back in the water before her birthday. That is Marci's next big project. Because of how Jaycee's cancer has advanced, she believes this could be her daughter's last birthday and she wants to make it extra-special with a Christmas theme.
