I cannot say enough what a blessing it is to be teaming up with my friend Robert Levin and his team at Levin Furniture. Last week we changed a woman's life when she was selected to receive $5,000 in donations from the Levin's Furniture For Families program.

This week we're surprising another deserving family and it's one that'll make you laugh and cry, maybe at the same time. Get ready to meet Roberta Axton.

Roberta was nominated by her daughter, Tracy, who had to join us by video chat because of a COVID quarantine. Her sister, Brenda, stepped in to help pull off the surprise reveal. Let's just say Roberta's response was colorful and tearful. You've got to watch the video to see it.

Here's an excerpt from the nomination Tracy sent in:
"...She works so hard for everything she has and would give anyone anything she could including the shirt off of her back. This woman has been diagnosed with lupus over the past few years can barely walk but yet still works at a nursing home taking care of elderly and doing what she loves."
That includes taking care of her 47-year-old daughter with special needs and being a foster parent to her great-grandson. When Roberta isn't surrounded by family, she works with the Little Sisters of the Poor, at least until she retires next month.
