Giant Eagle is making changes to its perks program.
The fuelperks+ program will end in January, converting customers rewards in new myPerks accounts.
The grocery chain says that the fuelperks+ and myPerks will be combined into one program on January 25
Free gas and up to 20 percent off groceries, are now available in the myPerks program.
The company says its customers’ accounts will automatically switch over on January 25.
Giant Eagle released the following statement to KDKA Radio on the coming changes:
We’re pleased to announce that we will be launching an enhanced myPerks loyalty program to all customers in January. The enhanced program will combine the best benefits of both fuelperks+ and myPerks into a single loyalty program so we can continue to deliver great savings to all our customers at a time when they need it most. We’ve listened to the feedback we’ve received from our customers and will be evolving the myPerks program to include the most popular perk redemption opportunities like free gas, up to 20 percent off groceries, and the choice of dollar rewards.
