A tortoise is back home after it went on a big adventure in a Pittsburgh-area neighborhood.
The giant turtle was found wandering in a family's backyard on Wednesday afternoon in Robinson Township
Kristen Plotner tells KDKA Radio the turtle was in her yard just off Silver Lane.
She offered the reptile some lettuce and watermelon and luckily, the owner was found.
Plotner says the "whole neighborhood was out protecting him while we waited for his owner."
She adds they found out the tortoise's name is "Terry".
All's well that ends well for Terry. Hopefully he enjoyed his adventure and is happy to be home.
