A fundraiser has been started for the man killed after his motorcycle was hit by a drunk driver Thursday night in Fayette County.
A 63-year-old drunk driver struck 35-year-old Jacob Wolfe in Grindstone, Jefferson Township.
A GoFundMe for Wolfe, started to help his family, says that “Jacob lost his life when he was hit by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle home after responding to a call out at work.”
“Wolfie” as he was known, leaves behind a young daughter and a son. He mother will now be caring for the children.
The GoFundMe says that funds raised will go directly to covering funeral expenses and the care of this children and mother.
The fundraiser says Jacob was an example of someone who faced adversity and turned their life around, “dedicating himself every day to his family and his responsibilities. He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and love, but his family now faces the overwhelming challenge of covering funeral expenses and supporting his daughter, son and mother through this difficult time.”
