We are on the clock for this one. Time is of the essence. We need your help with a mother and her daughter who are stranded in Westmoreland County, living on a school bus. No heat, no water, and very few options.
Tina is a gold star mom. Late last year her son was murdered on his military base in Florida. Tina and her daughter packed up everything to move to the Pittsburgh area so they could be near her daughter-in-law and grandchildren who moved in with her parents in Plum Borough.
Everything included all of their belongings, and the animals in the rescue operation they were running in Florida. They thought they had a perfect place to go here in Penn Township, Pennsylvania but there was a huge problem when they got here. Things were not as they were promised and That left them stranded, looking for a home.
Inside that bus… 12 dogs, 14 cats, plus 2 ferrets and of course Tina and Tabitha. With only a small generator and heater, it has hardly been enough to fight the brutal cold this past week.

Financially, they were in decent shape when they left Florida but that changed when their bus broke down three times on the way to Pennsylvania. That wiped out any extra money and left them stuck.
After Marty Griffin was able to get Tina on "The Big K Morning Show" earlier this week, people started reaching out with offers of blankets and heaters, but we have to do more.
So here's where we are at right now. Tina and Tabitha have a temporary roof over their heads, staying with an anonymous, amazing family in the community.
We are working on a rescue to take in all of the animals that are not their family pets. Now we have to raise some money to get them into more permanent housing. Tina has setup this GoFundMe and that is the best place to make a contribution to help this family get out of a very dark hole.
