Rain is expected to be a factor over the remaining days of the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club.
National Weather Service meteorologist Jason Frazier tells The Big K Morning Show showers on Friday will be scattered.
“Maybe hit or miss from about the 2-3 p.m. through about 8 p.m. tonight so better chance to get a lot of outdoor activities done,” said Frazier.
The change of intermittent showers and thunderstorms increases on Saturday and Sunday.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms will be most possible during the afternoons and evenings this weekend.
Hopefully the showers will be short-lived enough with minimal impact so folks can continue to safely be outdoors watching the festivities.
It will be mostly cloudy through the weekend with temperatures in the low 70s, but it will be humid.
