Today, Governor Josh Shapiro gave his reaction to a new Quinnipiac University pool showing he's way ahead in the Governor's race, but folks don't think he should run for president right now.
He told KDKA Radio today that he doesn't pay attention to polls.
I pay 0 attention to that stuff. I'm proud of the work we do here in Pennsylvania. I'm grateful that we got support not just from Democrats, but Republicans and Independents as well, but the only polls that matter are the ones when I stand in front of the voters every four years. I've been blessed every time I've been on a ballot. I enjoy support from a wide section of people. I take nothing for granted," he said.
The Quinnipiac Poll found Shapiro has a 56% approval rating among voters in the gubernatorial race.
