A Westmoreland County man was arrested after police say he brought an injured bird to a local bar.
According to the District Attorney’s office, 40-year-old Timothy Grace of Greensburg brought his injured parakeet to Callaghan's Bar on South Main Street while heavily intoxicated late last month.
Officers learned Grace transported the bird to the bar by putting it in his pocket.
Police took the bird to a local animal hospital, where it was treated for a broken leg and was said to be underweight and weak.
Grace is facing a slew of charges, including aggravated cruelty to animals.
