Allegheny County Police have charged a Fayette County man, without a license to carry, with trying to bring a firearm through security at Pittsburgh International Airport.
On Wednesday evening, just after 6:30, TSA officers found a handgun in 45-year-old James McDonald’s carry-on.
Allegheny County Police say the Point Marion man is facing one felony for carrying a firearm without a license.
The FBI is also investigating.
It’s the latest in a string of guns stopped at Pittsburgh International this year.
It’s already the 10th gun stopped at the airport in 2025.
