A shooting in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood that injured two people is now being investigated as a homicide after one of the victims died.
Police initially responded to a Shotspotter alert on Flowers Avenue Wednesday night around 8:40pm.
As officers were on their way to the scene, a car came to stop in front of police on Blair Street. Inside the vehicle, police found two people who had been shot - a woman with a gunshot wound in her shoulder and a man with a gunshot wound in his hand.
The woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Thursday morning, police said that she died from her injury.
The man was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
