KDKA Radio Editorial: Healthcare Burnout

A new survey says ninety-three percent of the hospital workers in Pittsburgh are thinking about leaving their jobs. That startling revelation comes from Pitt researchers who surveyed more than 22-hundred employees, excluding doctors, at eleven Pittsburgh hospitals in 2021.

Even though these hospital workers say they have too much work, too much stress and not enough income, the majority say they are staying to take care of patients.
