Tonight, a heavily traveled stretch of Route 51/Saw Mill Run Boulevard is being shut down.
Starting at 9 p.m. the roadway will close around-the-clock between Crane Avenue and Woodruff Street for an overhead bridge demolition project.
A separate car and truck detour will be posted.
PennDOT says the closure will last three weeks through the August 26, barring any setbacks.
