Heavy rains producing torrential downpours continue to move across the region Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood warning until 6 p.m. for East Central Allegheny County.
The Mayor of Rankin Joelisa McDonald posting a video on social media of flooding along 5th Street there.
Flooding was also observed in Monroeville, Turtle Creek, Murrysville and Pitcairn other areas, including Parkway East.
The National Weather Service says they've received reports of flooding roads and stranded vehicles near Pitcairn.
A flood warning in effect until 8 in Lawrence County as well.
Experts remind drivers to avoid driving through flooded roads and be careful of ponding and hydroplaning.
