Hello Kitty Cafe Truck making stop in Pittsburgh Saturday

Pittsburgh is welcoming a world-wide phenomenon on Saturday morning.

The Hello Kitty Café Truck is stopping at Ross Park Mall from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. between The Cheesecake Factory and LL Bean.

The fictional Hello Kitty, created in Japan 50 years ago, has become one of the most recognizable characters in the world.

Some of the treats available include macarons and cookies, as well as plenty of Hello Kitty merchandise.

Keychains, pins, patches, totes, blankets mugs, shirts and more are for sale.

The Hello Kitty Café Truck website says they accept credit cards only, “no cash accepted.”

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has visited around 100 cities since it began traveling around the United States in 2014.
