It's been one week since Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire was shot and killed by a suspect during a chase.

Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home.

Guests are asked to park at Valley High School where a free shuttle bus will take them to and from the funeral home.

A service will be on Wednesday at noon at Mount Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Mount Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.

Local leaders are expecting several road closures in both Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties over the next few days.

McIntire was killed in the line of duty one week ago when he was ambushed by a suspect during a chase.

Close family friend Cassie Evans has been running an online fundraiser for Chief McIntire's wife.

“She have been so busy, I mean her phone has been going nonstop, kind of been a revolving door at her house,” said Evans. “I think today the viewing starts so I think everything is going to kind of sink in today, the next few days are going to be very difficult for her.”

She tells the Big K Morning Show, the next few days will be extremely difficult for his wife and kids.

An online fundraiser has raised nearly $100,000 for the family. You can donate here.
