The Hempfield Area school board approved unanimously last night changes to start and dismissal times.
Middle school students will start classes an hour earlier with no change in the time they leave.
Hempfield's youngest students will start classes 30 minutes earlier and will be dismissed earlier.
A shortage of bus drivers played a role in the schedule changes.
