UPDATE: Police say Body was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday night.
Allegheny County Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect after an incident in Pitcairn.
Charges have been filed against 22-year-old Patrick Body as the driver of the vehicle that hit a female pedestrian in the 400 block of Broadway Boulevard just before 9:20 p.m. last Thursday, May 21.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Detectives used surveillance video and additional evidence to identify Body as the driver of the Kia Optima. He faces multiple charged including aggravated assault by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury and failure to stop and render aid.
Body is currently on the loose and is described as a Black male standing 6-foot-3 with his last known address in Monroeville.
