The city says a Downtown homeless encampment that's been the site of violence, drug use and trash have to go.
The tent camp along First Avenue strewn with garbage and syringes has been the scene of fights and open-air drug use in plain sight of Downtown workers and visitors.
On Tuesday, city outreach workers gave tent dwellers a final offer of housing or drug rehab.
The encampment is expected to be cleaned up by the end of the day Wednesday.
