
Two young children are dead after an early morning fire in Wilkinsburg.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says they were notified of the fire around 1:40 Saturday morning.
When Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire crews arrived on the scene on the 500 block of Shelbourne Avenue they were notified of an entrapment on the second floor.
Crews were able to locate the children, who were unconscious.
They were taken to the hospital where they are pronounced deceased.
KDKA-TV reports the children were 6 and 7-years-old.
A firefighter was also injured at the scene after a fall. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
