The human remains found in the submerged car in the Allegheny River last month have been identified.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said the remains are that of Janet Walsh of Shaler who had been missing since 2020.
Authorities pulled a car from the river in Oakmont on July 21 and they determined the car belonged to Walsh.
She was reported missing January 20, 2020.
