A man is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and making terroristic threats following an incident during a protest in Springdale.
Police say 40-year-old Ian Patrick Hill threatened a motorist who stopped in front of a February 14 protest against the Springdale Police Department's decision to work with federal ICE agents.
Police allege that Hill threatened to kill the motorist, identified as Todd Lovic, after Hill was seen on video approaching Lovic with a stick and slamming Lovic's door shut.
Hill has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 6.
