State agents uncover illegal gambling activity inside a Washington County political club.
Pennsylvania Liquor Control Enforcement officers, alongside Pennsylvania State Police, say they carried out an unannounced inspection at the Independent Political Club in Washington, PA.
At a news conference, officials said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal gambling in the region.
Officials say the “Queen of Hearts” game is not considered a legal game in the state of Pennsylvania.
The game was seized as well at $91,343 in money associated with the game.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released soon.
