KDKA Radio is proud to announce the first-ever Allegheny Health Network Sports Medicine Pittsburgh Holiday Hoops Classic, presented by us at KDKA Radio.

The four action-packed games are on December 27.


It will be the first time since opening, that PPG Paints Arena will be hosting High School Basketball.

If you can't make it to the arena, KDKA Radio will have all of the games live on air.

Schedule:

- 2:00 PM: West Mifflin vs. McKeesport

- 4:00 PM: West Allegheny Girls vs. Lincoln Park Girls

- 6:00 PM: Fox Chapel vs. Allderdice

- 8:00 PM: North Catholic vs. Lincoln Park

The 8:00 PM showdown will be a riveting rematch of last year's WPIAL 4A Championship between North Catholic and Lincoln Park. Notably, Lincoln Park enters the season as the #20-ranked team in the nation according to MaxPreps, boasting the formidable Meleek Thomas, the #7 prospect in the country according to ESPN as well as Brandin Cummings who just recently committed to the University of Pittsburgh.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 24.

PPG Paints Arena continues in a long tradition of high-profile, high school basketball games.

The Roundball Classic was held at the Civic Arena from 1965 until 1991.

The Holiday Hoops Classic is also brought to you by: Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs and Run the Show Premiere Basketball Training.
