After three years of development, a purely Pittsburgh drink is available.
Calling it the “worst-kept secret in Pittsburgh history,” Turner’s Dairy Farms and Iron City Beer have announced the first cans of IC’D Tea.
The two local companies say it isn’t a typical hard tea.
“It’s the perfect combination of two of the city’s most iconic beverages,” a post on both Turner’s and Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s Facebook pages.
The companies say the mix of Iron City Beer and Turner’s tea is “the most refreshing drink these three rivers have ever seen.”
IC’D Tea will be available at local distributors and other stores beginning on April 12, or 4-12.
