The final game of the men’s NCAA basketball season will crown a champion on Monday, but locally, there is a big showdown underway online.
The PA Chamber of Commerce “Coolest Thing Made in PA” Tournament ends tonight at 9 p.m.
It’s Mrs. T’s Pierogies vs. Pittsburgh’s own Primanti Brothers Sandwich.
While Pierogies are a Pittsburgh food staple, Mrs. T’s is based out of Shenandoah, which is in eastern PA.
So, if you want to show your Pittsburgh pride, make sure you vote for the “Almost Famous” sandwich before 9.
Mrs. T’s took down Meta The Metaverse, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Zippo Lighters and in the final four round, took down Yuengling Lager beer!
Primanti Bros. had some tough competition of its own on the way to the final.
The sandwich with fries and coleslaw on it beat York Barbell, Crayola Crayons, Martin & Co. Guitars and the Altoona-based Sheetz MTO to make it to the final round.
